These terms govern participation in Tellan’s founding-family pilot. By enrolling a child, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you otherwise have legal authority to provide the requested authorization.

The Tellan service

Tellan provides brief educational messages intended to support family conversations about phones, friendships, safety, judgment, kindness, confidence, and related situations. Tellan is not monitoring software, emergency assistance, therapy, legal advice, medical advice, or a substitute for parental supervision.

SMS program

By affirmatively checking the SMS-consent box, you authorize Tellan to send approximately three recurring educational text messages per week to each child’s number you provide. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help or email info@gettellan.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier availability and device compatibility.

Parent responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining authority over each enrolled number, reviewing Tellan’s suitability for your children, and notifying us if a number changes hands or your authorization ends.

Appropriate use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit information you are not authorized to provide, or reproduce and commercially distribute Tellan content without written permission.

Ending participation

You may stop SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Tellan may suspend or end pilot access for operational, safety, legal, or misuse concerns.

Service changes

Tellan may revise, pause, or discontinue parts of the pilot. Material changes to these terms will be posted with an updated effective date.
